After a leisurely breakfast there will be an introductory talk about tonight’s opera. After coffee we leave for Temple Newsam House and a curated guided tour. An early dinner is followed by the performance of The Marriage of Figaro at the Grand Theatre.

After breakfast there will be an illustrated talk about tonight’s opera. After coffee we visit the Thackray Museum and the Henry Moore Centre. Free time in the afternoon is followed by an early dinner in time for the final performance – Kurt Weill’s Street Scene.

The Queens Hotel is adjacent to the city station giving easy access to trains from many parts of the UK. There is a half-hourly train service from London Kings Cross.
