Chamber Music in Beverley

A feast of music in one of England’s finest towns

Chamber Music in Beverley

Each year for the last 25 years the Beverley Chamber Music Festival has attracted leading musicians to the town. This year’s festival celebrates the treasures of the Russian chamber music repertoire, including pieces by Rachmaninov, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Borodin. It will also profile Elgar, showcasing his great chamber music.
The festival is centred on St Mary’s Church in the heart of the town.
We stay at the recently refurbished four-star Beverley Arms Hotel.

We meet at the Beverley Arms Hotel just across from St Mary’s Church and in the heart of the Georgian old town. After drinks and a short walking tour, we enjoy dinner before our first concert in St Mary’s Church.
